Thanks squale! Apparently, Mattson ended up with a campaign manager, who is pimping for votes with a signature link, and a thread like this in another section... since this member is a moderator, his posts are in a lot of threads in a lot of forum sections, including the new member area, so lots of people see the signature link.

Help me out guys! I don't want anyone to vote for my bike if they feel that one of the other bikes is better, or has more work and innovation put into it, but if you do appreciate the work put into my bike, and the changes made, get over there and give me your vote - do it! It will make you feel warm and fuzzy!

If voted as February ROTM, I promise to.... um.... well, ride my bike!!

SB's moderator status has nothing to do with his activity. Anyone can put a link in their signature and post anywhere on the forum they want to, including saying hello to new members.

You're up against the loyalty of the hurricane guys with Mattson being like their little brother... He has a nice bike at least, but so do you. So make your sig with a link visible and post often. Get some of your F2 buddies and all of the people you've helped to campaign with you.

Demon, don't get me wrong, I'm not at all saying that it's unfair - probably a poor choice of words on my part - what I meant was simply that he is active in a lot more areas of the forum as I am... like you alluded to, I should probably be more active myself!

Anyway, my bike is far from complete, and the truth is, this is all just fun, and I won't be bothered at all if I don't win... honestly, I just want the best build to win, whoever that may be, and all the bikes up for selection look fantastic!
