Severe Lash at Low RPM's

Severe Lash at Low RPM's
I have noticed that my 1993 CBR600 F2 now has a significant "lash" on/off the gas at lower RPM's; it is particularly prevalent in 1st gear, less in 2nd gear, etc... In first gear on/off the gas starting out less than 15 mph is really "jerky". I really can't tell if it's the rear end or tranny, but shifting is still buttery smooth so I'll assume its the rear wheel. As rpm's increase the lash goes away. I was wondering if anyone has/had this problem and if replacing the five (5) rubber cush seals in the cush drive would stop this? The bike has 41K miles, so they may be wearing out or just dead and not doing their job. Anyway, if anyone else has/had this problem and fixed it, I would appreciate the help. If you prefer, please leave me an e-mail @ gpz4jp@aol.com. Other than that, the bike still turns heads because it is exceptionally clean and I have removed all the Ricky-Racer graphics so it is mostly black with silver and the red on the gas tank only. Much cleaner looking. With smoke shield, black rims and the Yosh exhaust, it's still quite a runner. Have looked to replace it a couple of times but nothing seems to be as adequate for doing everything and being "light weight". I also don't want to drop $7-8K on a liter bike... most are very uncomfortable and singular in purpose. Thanks again for the help regarding my question.
