I've looked at the diagrams but the cowl and frame are separate. It shows the two mounting pieces from the bracket that the cowl attaches to, and there are two matched size threads on the cross bar on the frame. These do not connect together and have something in between because my rear fairings do not line up nor does this look like it was ever designed to mate... I pulled my moms bike apart and she's got two aluminum spacers that raise the cowl up about 1 inch and 3/4 inch to the rear. Oddly enough, the fairings match up perfectly for her bike so this tells me I'm missing these. Can someone let me know if this is true before I got get some aluminum and start drilling holes.
