I am picking up a 1992 F2 this weekend...first thing I need to do is change the color...I don't get a warm cozy feeling about riding a pink bike...before I get it painted, I want to pick up a seat cowl...I see the ones available on targa.com, but is there any other cowls out there?

 

Airtech makes passenger seat cowls as well as solo-seat race tails...

Airtech is a joke...quallity is non-existant....and they do nothing on a seat cowl for an F2 that is anything but rubbish.

I have one...and have seen first hand how they didn't put enough material to get the job done...instead...leaving one side cut too short...height wise,
and on that same side...it doesn't follow the contour of the tail/side panels...and there is not enough material to shave away to make it fit right.

As soon as I get my Sharkskin...I'll be selling my seat cowl from air-wreck for $30...shipping included.

 

I know someone that is selling one for $50 if you may be interested. its brand new, ready for paint.

Here it is...not a clsose up...and it's just been painted with enamel black spray paint.

There are 2 holes, about 1/16 inch big for some small bolts and nuts...but if you don't want to use them, they can be puttied over...easily.
