Running when warmed up issue!
here's my issue:
we (my husband and i) took our 93 cbr 600 f2 out for a ride the other day. about 20 miles into it the thing stalled when he rolled off the throttle. he managed to "jump" start it with the clutch but it was acting like it had missed fires. it stalled again a few minutes later as we headed up hill! this time we had to stop and he tried to start it up but it wouldn't turn over but for a few seconds he tried the idle screw and putting it on res even though it was full. it started and ran like absolute crap no power very doggish. this is what we did all the way home everyfew miles we had to stop and tinker. he thinks it may be the regulator rectifier. when we got home the reg/rec was really hot. hotter then the exhaust. does anyone have a suggestion for me? is there a way to test the reg/rec with a volt meter to see if it's the problem? thanks~mo
