reupholstering seat

Default reupholstering seat
my seat is pretty torn up but the cushion on the seat is still good so all i want to do is replace the "leather" or what ever the material is, what is the seat made out of?

i think its leather but you can just buy a used one for 50 bucks or less in for sale section

I went to the fabric store we have here and bought some faux leather. It's really easy to recover. Just make sure you stretch it tight. I didn't even use adhesive I just stapled it.

i dont think its real leather, its like the cheap kind, but i cant recall the name

faux leather is fake leather/vinyl. Just go to a fabric store and ask for black automotive vinyl.
