rear shock
i have a 94 shock and 92 for sale.. also i just bought a penski 8983 witch is a derect bolt in for the f2.. it does come with big price tag..800 dollars..fully adjustable with ride hight adjustment
I'd suggest looking for a Fox twin-clicker rear shock for your F2. I put one on my F2 as a bolt-on and it works wonderfully...found it for $150 off eBay. It features full adjustability (8 clicks rebound and 24 clicks compression I believe) as well as ride height adjust, although I don't advise jacking around the rear height too much. Yes, you'll be able to flick the bike over more quickly with a a jacked-up rear, but you'll lose stability in the front and potentially some traction in the rear. Keep any changes to your geometry moderate and if adjusting the ride height, consider purchasing a steering damper to help prevent tankslappers.
Re-valving your front forks is also a good idea. From the factory, F2's came with forks that were softer than the rear, and if you weigh more than 140 you're probably a bit heavy for them. You can also replace your forks with 1994 F2 forks, which are cartridge forks that are fully adjustable.

The only tricky part (after the not so easy install of the shock) was finding a place to tie down the external reservoir. I ended up putting it behind the regulator/rectifier.
Highly recommend the upgrade.
its made for the f2.. it went right in with no problems...
