I am looking to buy this 1993 Honda CBR 600 F2, its currently non running but from what i researched about this bike, I really wanna take a chance and get her running the only problem is that the current owner wants 1000 for it, and while i would usually pass on something like this, the opportunity to get a bike like this is rare. What do you guys think?
It's a 30 year old bike with none of the original plastics. It's not running and is sitting out in the elements uncovered. I think a grand is a fairly high price. There's no telling why it isn't running.
Yeah, for $1K, you can get track-prepped bike. Like 1st-gen SV650 or older CBR600RR or ZX6R. Saves you tonne of time and money in end compared to unknown non-running bike. Got my '05 RR in '10 for $2500
