A pic of my new 600f2.
The graphics are what drew me to the bike first. The we realised it was in excellent shape. Once I had a test ride I was completely sold on it. Can't wait to ride it again in the spring.
This is one of the reasons I didn't buy a brand new bike just yet. I'd be sick having a new bike in the shop waiting for Winter to break. Bad enough having two "old" ones in there.
I'm wondering if I need to do any winter maintenance to it. She was serviced in September and had an oil change etc. Do I keep starting her up or will she be alright until about March? My bike is garaged and won't get damp.
Very nice looking bike! As for storage, I just keep the battery charged, add some stabilizer to the fuel, and turn is over for about 30 seconds every couple of weeks to circulate the oil and keep everything lubed (I don't actually start it, but you could).
Hi,
I've been charging the battery and starting the bike up every few weeks, running it until the engine temperature gauge is normal. So far so good and there's been no sign of the battery dying on me. Looking forward to spring when I can get out a bit on it again.
