I have fuel leaking from a peace attached to the petcock

If you look at the diagram it is coming out of the 9 option... however i do not think this is the problem as the gas leaks when the petcock is turned off... Am i to asume that it is the peace that attaches to 9 the peace the petcock lever attaches to? Because really this is the part that stops the gas from flowing when the petcock is turned off.

Any feedback would be great

It looks like item #9 is a subassembly of item #6. I don't think you can purchase item #9 by itself. I would order item #6, which is the complete petcock assembly. Maybe you want to check with the dealer on this, though.

 

IMO i would just look around for another petcock, maybe on ebay or in the forums, im not sure but i think i may have an extra one that i know does not leak. PM me if interested
