I hate the tiny *** gas tank. Riding in the twisties, then I have to ruin everybody's fun by having to get gas every hour. I wish it came with one bigger.

What the hell are you talking about. The F2 gets good milage (38mpg) and runs up to 140-160miles before needing a refill. Most other sports bikes, even modern 600's, won't get that much off a tank.

The f2's tank is fine. I'd check your bike for a gas leak or something, or stop riding with kids on 250's.

I agree that the tank is freaking huge compared to my 09 now. lol I get about 160 to the tank on my 09 and only got about 140 on my F2.

+1 to cheking for leaks. Before i sold mine my breather tube inside the tank had cracked and i always had gas dripping out. And gas is harder to see on the ground since it will evaporate faster so i visual, and feeling check is the best bet.

On the street I typically get 175 miles on a full tank unless really riding hard. I actually was riding with a bunch of Harley guys just cruisin around in 6th gear for a while and was getting 60 miles to the gallon. Turn your idle screws in a quarter or half a turn maybe in your case. You wont notice a difference in running a little lean on those jets but you will save a noticeable amount of fuel.

All the reports I'd read says the F2 has a good tank range so found this posting odd?

No leaks. Like I said, riding the twisties pretty hard this weekend. Had to use reserve after a hour and 15 minutes. Sucks with a 2.7 gallon tank, when all my buddies have tanks over 4 gallons.

4.23 to be exact. Pull the gas nozzle out of your tank, pull back on the switch thing, level the bike upright, now you can top off the tank to the very top.

Pull back on the switch thing, I am thinking you mean the reserve ****. 4.23 gallons kinda hard to believe. I have run it dry with the reserve on and only got 2.7 gallons out of it.
