Nice to see the time and effort put into these bikes. You've had some rough luck so far, but I look at it this way ( especially since my engine is sitting as yours is at the moment) at least you know you have taken care of the issues you had! Plus, if your like me, you had a perfect excuse to buy new tools! That's always a good thing

I have lapped the valves, put new stem seals on and fitted all back together. Put the new Head gasket on. For some reason they sent a genuine Honda part in a Kawasaki box lol.... Fitted a new temp sensor. old one snapped off on removal.... a lot of things seamed to snapped whilst rebuilding!!! anyway... Torqued head down ready for the cams

Got the Gear changing system all back together, got the oil pump in and read the wrong torque settings and snapped the bolt that holds the cog/gear on, so I had bought another pump at a small bargain cost and fitted it. don't know how I read the wrong setting but I did, silly me I know but im human lol...... I think?

Fitted the new pump that arrived today and then built the clutch, installed the basket. Without the right tool for tightening, I put a socket on the clutch nut, then put the springs and lifting plate on and tightened it up so the plates were engaged, put a screwdriver between the crank and clutch basket and voila.... tight as a nuns a@@. just a little tip for you that don't have the right tool.

Seriously though, nice work, and it looks as if you're going to finish up just in time for the best riding weather, that is, unless you've got a lot more planned besides the engine refresh.
