for jebus' sake paper filters are better than cotton power wise and K&N filters make it run rich its due to them messing with air flow when the ram air kicks in

or a mesh filter like mine for the best flow possible

and micron i think will still make them for you if your in america as they are listed on their website, make sure you get racing ones or its not worth the money

Micron Store: Honda CBR-600F3

it is a high rise system though so no pillion

Just out of curiosity, what brand and torque range is your torque wrench?

Yeah, it pays to have a high quality smaller unit for lower torque stuff, for sure.

Hi All hope your having a better day than me.
so, I was turning my crank to a couple turns find out if everything is ok, I heard a grinding noise, so I thought id investigate. I took off the connecting rod making the noise and I find this... a groove in my new shell bearings and a chip on the part the turns the connecting rods.... god damn it I didn't see the chip on the crank before assembly, but least I didn't have the engine fully assembled. Gurrrr

For the first time ever, I wanted to try welding...... here is my first ever piece of work done... yes, you can laugh at how RUBBISH the weld is but its welded and not going anywhere so im happy with the fairings being non flexy as they are I needed to gap where the ecu was originally to be free of objects for when I take the seat fairing off or putting it on.

just got to spray it black and tidy it up.....
