With a K&N filter, you'll likely have to change jetting to suit the higher flow, but you'll deal with that when you've got it all back together... if you've got stock jetting currently (135 mains/1 shim on jet needle) you'd be better off getting an OEM-type paper filter, unless you just really want to tinker with it, to get it tuned right.

On exhaust, no, I really don't have any suggestions - no one is currently producing race headers for the F2, you just have to find used ones - and as far as aftermarket cans, there are many out there, with Yoshimura and Two Brothers being my personal choices, but, as I said above, a slip-on alone will not necessitate jetting changes.

Hi guys, so i been busy and spending loads too. Hope you are all well,
I ave completely stripped the engine. Ive blasted and sprayed it enamel black.
Looks nice and clean and new. It will go with the bike colour code which is black and white.

I ve replaced the clutch basket bearing. The basket itself is in good nick, no rattle... I changed both bearings on the main shaft and countershaft. first gear cog has roller bearing so i changed that.

I had to ali weld a new block for exhaust stud, old one snapped off and drill went wonky so decided to cut it out and weld a new bit with a new hole tapped for exhaust stud. Not bad for first attempt!

A before and after shot. I ve put new set of rings on and what a ball ache getting them into the barrel. Made my own device in the end using a larger can and jublie clip. The device i bought off amazon..... Well never again. I changed all bearings on connecting rods or conrods.......

So far i have got to this stage with the crank, both shafts and pistons installed, i did have the crank case together but torqued up the last of the top set and it effing snapped. Lucky i got another set but will have to drill out the snapped bit. So, annoying as it is i had to take off the crank case again and will try again soon.

It's a shame about the setbacks you've encountered, but good luck finishing it up!
Just out of curiosity, what brand and torque range is your torque wrench?
