Default octane booster

Is octane booster ok to use in the f2 will it cause any damage to anything I have full aftermarket exhaust v&h powerpac it also has hotter plugs in it not sure why but that's what it had so that's what I put back in because it ran fine with them I'm assuming it also has a jet kit because of everything else it has figure it wouldn't run right with out it thanks for the help guys also am I right to assume it has a jet kit or could it just be stock and run fine just the same?

Dont waste your money. Our bikes call for 87 octane anyway, if you want to raise the octane just buy 89,91,93,or 94.

Hotter plugs are unusual. Maybe they were put in because the stock range was fouling. Could have a jet kit or shimmed stock needles. Were the plugs black or tan colored? Black would mean rich. You would have to get into the carbs to see if the jets are stock.

Octane booster won't do anything for you. I run 91 with a jet kit here in California.

Absolutely, they are engineered for running 87 - it's even in the manual - anything above that is a waste of money.

I have the Honda manual for the F2, as well as the Clymer and Haynes - I rarely use the Clymer, with the Haynes being my favorite... gets you one!!

I have the Hynes Manual for my F2 as well (and it's great)
Do you know where I can get a copy of Honda's Owner's Manual? I'm thinking I would have to ask Honda's website or a dealership but I haven't looked into it really...
