Default fuel injector cleaner/ octane booster

I was wondering if using a fuel injector/fuel system cleaner or an octane booster will harm the bike in amy way. I dont have any problems with it running, I just wondered If it was ok to run it in a bike like you would run in a car.

I dont see why not. I used FI cleaner this spring when my bike was having some carb issues from forgetting stabil last year and it worked good.

Actually running a fuel with ethenol in it will do the same thing to clean out carbs. 89 octane will work, although depending on what bike you have, it may be a bit low.

I have heard that octain boost can harm the engine, like if you take a whole can and put it in your small m/c tank. Use this stuff spairingly, if at all. If you want a good cleaning and fuel stabilizer, use seafoam. Good stuff.

Octane boosters are a waste of money and don't do jack.

Not true. They wont help modern bikes, but older bikes with high compresion and cars with high comp will benefit if you are running too low of octane and need a little help to prevent detonation. 104+ works best for that application.

each octane booster can is suppose to be good for a 20 gal tank... So you should use it in that ratio.

Anyone have an opinion on what carb/FI cleaner works best on a carburated bike (like my 900RR)?
