see heres the thing, i've never heard of a cam chain breaking on a honda, but all my friends ride to hard and don't adjust jack's on their suzies....they scrape the inner casing and shatter cam chain's religiously.....they don't listen either when i tell em why -jackfaces....

personally i think honda made their design so even at the most relaxed setting the cam chain will not "grenade" inside the casing.

Thanks for theinput guys! Don't think I can return the new one (live and learn), but I'm definately gonna get the manual one when I've got the scratch. Other than the embarassing noise at start-up, it runs great. I'll just have to wear my helmet with the smoked face shieldso nobody sees who owns the bikewith the engine that sounds like it's disintigrating!
