Default New to me F2

Hey there!

Picked up an 1992 F2 for 600$ just because I couldn't pass it up!
Went through the entire bike: new wheel bearings, cables, carbs cleaned, swingarm bearings cleaned and greased, fork oil changed etc etc... Oh even a new Honda tank pad! 😂 She's finally ready so thought I'd share a few pics!

That bike is in great shape. Probably even has really low km too.
So wish we had the pass grab rails over here.
Did you replace the valve stems too?
Everyone forgets about them. I replaced mine with metal stem.

$600 wow, some people pay that for just a helmet! Nice find.

She actually has a bunch of miles on her (nearly 50k) but has been looked after meticulously. I'm not quite sure what you mean by metal valve stems... aren't they always metal?

Thanks guys! Fires straight up and runs perfectly. Honestly if I didn't know any better (and the choke lever...) I'd say she runs like a fuel injected bike. The wheels have been painted white at some point so I might powdercoat them back to red eventually.
I do love me a honda...

Lol, I was refering to the tire valve stem. The rubber ones get old and crack.
50k is still low miles in my book. I wish my bike had that few.

That makes a lot more sense 😂 I replace my tire valves everytime I change tires, just plain rubber ones, but I've never had a fresh one fail. I did have a bike with what seemed like original 20 year old ones fail quite spectacularly however... I checked tire pressure and the valve cracked in half like it was paper... At least I wasnt riding.
