Hey guys I just picked up a cbr 600 f2 ..how many miles is high miles on these bikes or how many is the most any of you have seen on them...cuz this one has 18k and it seems to be in fantastic shape with plenty of pinch..lemmie know what you think

Nice bike I am getting ready to paint an F2 black with white rims as well.

 

The bike looks ok but is really depends on how the previous owner treated and maintained it.

18K is not alot of miles....I can do that in a year or less...and as long as it has been maintained it will go ALONG way..I had a FZR600 and put 80,000 miles on it in a year!! It ran fine until some jackass stole it!!...so I dont know how long it would have ran, but it ran great....it was mostly freeway miles. These engines are just a basic design ( or better) than most cars and are WAYYYY understressed for normal riding..but unfortunatley most are crashed and destroyed before they are worn out

 

That's pretty low mileage, but like has already been said, if it was not properly maintained then it could be trouble with only 10k miles. My 93 F2 had 17,083 miles when I got it a few months ago. It was a one owner bike though (not counting the dealer that I bought it from) and had all maintainence receipts and records documented. It even already had the stock CTT replaced with an APE one before I bought it.

The black with the white rims looks pretty good btw.

 

That is my FAVORITE color combo on the F2, the 93 Red/White/Blue version..and I love your Second Look seat!!
