New to Bikes-Question
Well Im in the process of buying a 92 CBR and the owner is telling me it needs a carb tune-up. I wish I knew more about this but I dont. I have called and got estimates on how much it would cost. Problem is Im broke right now so how important is it to get done right away? Is it something that has to be done right away?
I have been reading and from what I understand it will cause the bike to bog down a lot but Im kinda curious if its bad for the bike?
Thanks for all the help...

ehh? run some sea foam through it with a tank of gas....
might clear the carbs , might not....
otherwise bong cleaner (or any other degreasing agent) and compressed air will do the trick super fast....
search google, yahoo or the how to section on this forum for step by step instructions on how to do it PROPERLY

To do it properly, you need a carb sync tool to measure the partial vacuum generated in all 4 carbs simultaneously. You want all of the pressures to be as close to each other as possible (matched to carb #2 (the second from left)) I don't know how much this tool is, but it sounds expensive.
118 fuel race track made mine run a lots better
