Your clutch is slipping badly.

Are repairs costly? What about the clutch basket? would it be damaged?

$90 for clutch plates and springs + the cost of a gasket gasket, check the clutch basket fingers for grooves when you have it out, but that causes a sticky clutch not really a slipping one.

Make sure you measure and/or replace the springs as well. Follow the service manual for specifications. There is a reason they are there.

I use the EBC SRC series clutch set, it comes with the fiber plates and new springs.

It's designed for heavier sportbikes (f2 is pretty beefy), faster riders and production based race use.

bikebandit.com has them for about $100

Be sure to soak the new plates in oil before installing.

Sounds like your clutch is either whacked out of adjustment or completely effed. Even if its just adjusted poorly, all that slipping has probably trashed the clutch entirely. the discs are probably fine so long as they aren't warped, but you'll need a set of fibers and a set of springs. Then you should be set.
