My 93 600
best bang for buck if you are looking for significant power upgrades is to clean the bike up really well, sell it, and buy a 750/900/1000.
I'm not hating on the 600 - I own one myself, but there's just not a ton of HP gains to be made over stock - this was a 100hp bike stock 20 years ago.
Dyno pulls from people like Jessee here that have really put time into their carb setups show these bikes can still make mid-90hp @ the wheel with everything mechanically optimized. that also means the right air filter, with the right carb setup, with the right exhaust setup - you can't just throw parts and pieces @ it expecting miracles - it has to be tuned as a complete system. Point in case - it's been shown that throwing a K&N filter in our bikes can actually hurt power a slight amount in most throttle positions without other tuning.
If you're looking for 10-15 HP gains, you're just not going to find it without opening the motor up or using power adders.
