manual cct problem

Default manual cct problem

i put a manual adjuster on and i keep having to tighten it in farther due to the noise coming back now i have adjusted it til it is almost out of turns slowly a little bit verytime. my question is do i need to achange my cam chain or is my motor just shot? it has 38xxx miles and idk what has ever been done to it.

Your cam chain may be stretched, I would advise replacing it and going from there.

i searched the forum and cant find a write up on cam chain replacement found one but was vague and the manual dosnt really help anyone done this before

Do you have a good shop manual or one of those crappy haynes manuals (or whatever the are called)?

Shop manuals give a lot of detail.

it says its the honda service manual. im just gonna get the chain and have at it. have to learn how to do it it some how. got a little help on a local forum and it seems doable.
