just wanted to know what the little red bulb on our instrument panel was for? it's a little below the rev counter. i was looking at the f2 manuals and couldn't figure out what it was for.

it looks like a tiny 3mm led bulb.

 

Post up a pic. I don't have one of those, and my instrument panel is all stock.

 

as you can see, little red bulb below the rev counter. i know for a fact the bike is completely stock, its a 94 f2.

 

Hm.. looks like something non-stock to me. I don't have that lamp either.
Alarm indicator perhaps?

Why don't you trace the wires and see where they go?

i guess this bike had an alarm on it at one point, its no longer there haha.

 

I have waterproof toggle switch in my trunk area for some reason. I just left it there.
