well most bikes are H4 so you might want to ask again... go to your local auto store and ask what size bulb they have in the computer for your bike... you dont need to go to a cycle shop, most stores like advanced and autozone sell small stuff for bikes like this

i believe that it was the H4 bulb. that is what i ordered for mine. i think i had to pull a little adapter thing from the socket that looked like it is part of it. just pulled hard and it came out and bulb went in. but i have several bikes and may be confused. when i get home ill try and check on that for you.

Default HID bulb size

OK, so I am new arround here hi everyone I did search, but couldnt find anything but info on 200 dollar phillips bulbs.

on my cobalt I had a 8000K HID kit that costed less then that, and I loved the blue, and would like to do the same to my evo. My question is does anyone know the bulb size H1, H9, H11, etc for the evo X headlights w/ SSS package?

Also, does anyone know the bulb size for the license plate light, as I would like to replace that w/ a bluish white LED.

Any input would be greatly appriciated

Honda made their bulbs slightly different so you have to go to them for parts. Proprietary engineering or whatever they call it... The only difference is the spacing of the 3 tabs. 1 is in a different spot. Bottom right I think. You can just fold it back and forth till it comes off and run 2/3 tabs or solder the 3d tab back on where it's suppose to go or buy an adapter like this

SO which bulb fits my 93 CBR900RR ? I'm thinking I'll want around 8000k but dunno what the bulb spec is.

If I recall correctly you can use H4, I just installed the sylvania silverstars in my 99. The package says 9003/H4. As previously stated you can buy the adapter or just bend the lower tabs back or remove them and they will fit your bike, Honda did you a proprietary bulb. But these will fit, I have been running this style bulb in mine for 11 years with out issue
