Default A little change..

If any of you remember my old thread of my bodywork fab, I changed the F2 from this:

Painted and fabbed myself, this winter I decided to hold off any major projects with the supra and change up the bike a bit more. My current plans are to swap the 900RR motor in, a 954RR front end (forks, wheel, brakes, and controls), and maybe the VFR SSSA if time and money allows.
This previous Friday I made a drive to pick up a 900 motor, should only have 1,600 miles on it since the rebuild. Currently has an aftermarket clutch, polished covers, and a few other goodies.

Yes, I remember. Your gonna put the 900 motor in your F2? Please post lots of details and problems you encountered along the way. Your gonna need a wire harness also and custome exhaust.

I am going to be using the F2 harness, and I am currently using an exhaust from a GSXR750 so using a random exhaust won't be a problem lol

How the heck is the F2 harness going to work with a 900 ecu? I dont know. Do the ecu's have the same plugs where they plug in to the wire harness. Maybe the ecu have the same part number. On a side note I have a stock 09 R1 complete exhaust that might work. Its titanium. If every thing works out maybe I'll put a 900 engine in my F2. Which would actually be kind of stupid since I have a 08 cbr 1000 anyway. But it would still be cool as hell.

Hard to forget your bike it looks fantastic.

Sounds like a great plan for power and handling, Will the 954 forks be a direct fit, and what will you do with the Speedo?

Ill be using the f2 ecu also, I talked to a guy running the 900 in his f3 and used his f3 harness and ecu with no issues
.

Thanks baron! As far as the speedo goes im currently running the f4i cluster so my speedo is driven off the front sprocket with a 900rr sensor and a speedo healer. My temp gauge is a sensor from a 929 that ill also be transfering to the 900 motor
