Default last couple rides

So the last few days have been nice enough for me to be able to take the bike out. While trolling this forum I have learned that 1. the F2 is a noisy bike and 2. the cam chain tensioner is known to go bad. So one of my questions is, what are the normal noises?

My bike is probably on it's 3rd or 4th owner and I have no clue what has been done to it other then a 2 brothers slip on. One of the PO was a little sticker happy so I have showa, and I think Metzler (sp) along with woody woodpecker, a shark, and an elephant, so what aftermarket parts should I be looking for as a possible change?

Overall the bike runs good, I'm probably going to change out the cct if for no more then piece of mind, is there anything else I should look at replacing on a bike with 25k mi on the clock?

tires, brake pads, oil change, new fluids, air filter cleaning. Basically an overall tune-up. With four previous owners you never know what they did to the bike. This is what I did, the first day I bought my F2 I gave it an overhaul tune-up, and it runs like the day it was made. I have not had a problem since.

What are all the fluids to be done? All i've really done maintenance-wise on my bike so far is change the air filter and oil(sometime this week)....

When I say fluids, I mean I did a complete cooling system flush and cleaned out the gas tank, and oil change.

depends how deep you want to get into the bike. could shim the valves too. but if they dont tick i guess ur still fine. if you got time clean carbs make sure all jets are set right. plugs, air filter all fluid. i've got 36k on mine(91 cbr) still run like champ
