Default konica f2 restoration

hey guys,

i was bored so thought i post up my restoration project. when i bought the bike it was pretty much a sad sight, previous owner lowsided on both sides.

bought a bunch of new parts for it, waiting for all the pieces to come in.

- smoked double bubble
- black on gold shorty levers
- 5000k hid's, projector retrofit
- clear front turn signals
- racing mirrors
- konica minolta fairing kit
- white rim tape (applied on both rims now)
- going to shorten SSR2 and wrap it with CF
- new jets / dyno tune

berga's manual cct was installed and dialed in properly, all new ngk plugs, fresh oil and fluids.

have to change out the pads soon, they're squeaking when i apply the front brakes. i have to buy a replacement right rearset, the foot peg and rear brake lever is bent to hell and back. (if you have one for sale let me know)

i did a quick 2 minute photoshop of what the bike will look like with the fairings on. i'll update as the parts come in.

Looks pretty nice! Is the motor missing or something though? Through that side panel you just see white where there is normally a motor.

oh no haha the motor is there, if you look at the fairings i took the picture off a website. they have watermarks on them the picture of the fairing was taken behind a white wall. ^ what you see above is a quick photoshop of what the bike will generally look like, course im sure it'll look better when everything comes in. properly tied down and cleaned

here's the original

i haven't purchased the fairings yet, i will be in the coming weeks. my friend recently ordered fairings from timmy6666. it can take up 2 weeks before the fairings actually do ship. but he did contact my friend to let him know about the delay

have you tried contacting him on ebay? the double bubble i ordered was from timmy, he sent me notice of purchase and pictures before shipping.

Hahaha, yeah I must hvae missed you saying it was a photoshop style thing. The original bike isn't completely toast, although the new fairings will be rad. Good luck with that! These F2's are all kinds of fun

yeah I got a hold of him he is very responsive. I'm just getting tired of waiting dammit its been over a month since I bought them still not sure if he shipped them out yet. he told me there was a delay he was switching shipping companies due to some customs issues. hopefully I get them soon the weather here is perfect!!! I see people riding all the time. except for me of course. !!

Holy screwed up plugs. Isn't dark dark black plugs a sign of running way too rich, or was it lean? I forget but check into that, your mixture surely is way off!

Make sure it doesn't go longer than 45 days, or PayPal and Ebay will not help you out.

You have 45 days from date of purchase to file a grievance with Ebay/PP.
