Default Just replaced the rear tyre.

So new tyre, bearings and such now back on the bike

What a pain in the **** trying to get the rim back on. I dont know what the hardest part was. Ended up a 2 man job! (I hate dust covers)

Anyhow once the tyre was on I couldnt for the life of me get this pointy thing back in. To let you know what It is. If youre looking at the rear of the bike. If you take off the nut on the left side of the swingarm. A 'U' shaped plate roughly 4mm thick that hugs the outside of the swingarm comes off with it. Now on the other side of the same side of the swingarm is a similar but thinner in diameter plate. Its that plate that I couldnt get back in. Is it a vital part? It looked rather worn by a dust cover so Im a bit worried it might wear the swingarm.

Other than that when I took her out for a quick blast around the ghetto the engine seemed very bogged down. Its probably needing a good blast but with salted up roads and a new tyre I wasnt wanting to push it. This normal for a bike thats been sitting for a 3-4 weeks?

Im sooooo happy to have a running bike again!!!

does the rear wheel rotate freely? There can be various shims to align the wheel and caliper bracket. Without em the bracket can rub on the rotor or the caliper will run too close to the bracket n cause the caliper to fail.
