Forks for this bike are cheap - I picked up a set of 94 forks that needed seals done for $100 shipped. I added ReaceTech springs for $100 and the seal kit was like $35. I'm in the middle of swapping them out right now actually and came in to look something up.

I might be willing to sell you my stock 92 forks - and I have a spare seal kit for them. I don't wann aget rid of them until I have the new forks on the road though and make sure there's nothing else they need.

Wow, you guys are paying alot for 600 f2's with that kind of mileage. Makes me wonder how long an F2 can go?!

Define a lot - the book values on these bikes are still in the mid $2K range, regardless of mileage. Those valuse are always pretty exaggerated, but still to hear of a decent F2 going in the $900-$1600 range still seems like a decent deal depending on what needs or doesn't need attention.

Based on the durability of the Honda engine, - F2's will probably be on the roads until the government makes us take em off. I mean there is a F4i on the forum here with over 175,000miles on the stock motor, and then a block swap has the bike over 200,000miles total.

Regular maintenance, following service schedules, and not acting like a 16 year old with his first toy can make these things stretch pretty far. Parts are easy to find, and don't cost a ton.

What kind of mileage would you expect on a 16-19 year old bike? a 91 with 30,000 miles would have been driven an average of 1,580 miles a year - hardly what I would call excessive use. A 94 with the same mileage would only have been ridden an average of 1,875/year. Hell I put that almost that much on a FZ1 from last August - this March. That would only be ~230 miles a month.
