individual air filters

Default individual air filters

anyone out individual k&n style cone filters on their F2? was thinking about it but not sure if it will make a difference.

These are known as "pod filters". They make the motor louder, they flow more air and in most cases, require a re-jet to make the most out of them.

I was thinking about doing the same, maybe put a pipe that goes straight down for each end and put individual filters, but the f2 seems like a pain to do this, though it would look awesome. Or maybe even putting the pipe to the side fairings.

stick with stock air box...unless you are turning it into a drag bike...

well not dragin it but don't fancy the setting carbs hassle. will keep it stock! have an f1 getting the streetlight/drag works!
