I just cleaned my carbs last night and i noticed that there i a hole that has been punched into one of the carbs. i guess something hit it with the previous owner. its a small hole but big enough i can see through it so its not good obviously. so i was just wondering if JB Weld could be used to cover the hole? can it withstand the heat?

 

Pictures please, lets make sure this hole isn't supposed to be there before you go plugging stuff into it you dirty boy.

 

no its deff not supposed to be there, its a hole that was pierced by something. ill try and get some pictures if needed

 

Where on the carburetor body is the hole located? Float bowl?
