So I got it to run today, basically the fuel tank was dirty and was not sending fuel into the bike. Once it was running, it was crazy, I loved riding every minute of it, it'll come tomorrow here to Gainesville via my dad's truck and I'll pictures. The weird thing is that I read a lot about tire sizes on the forum when I read through all of it yesterday and today I noticed on the back that they are 180/55 on the rear. No rubbing, I'm going to buy new tires because they both are super bald but my question is should I stick with the 180 since it's on there already and it fits perfectly. I read that it's dangerous to have it on there so I don't know if I'm going to stick with that tire size.

btw the way here is a picture of the bike up on the truck before it gets moved up to gainesville (sorry for the crappy cell phone pic), it's completely nakid but I have all the fairings and tank. The previous owner just took them off to paint them but never did.

I bought my f2 and the same thing. It is almost def the carbs. Drain the bowls on all carbs, empty gas tank. If it still don't start tear em apart and soak em, if you can't do it yourself it'll cost 2-3 hundred at the shop( and that includes sincin 'em in).

look some people say yes a 180 will fit but think try putting 9 inch wide tire on a 3.5 rim, mushrooms not safe i have a 91 f2 i'm working on i put "93 900 rr rim which holds 180/55/17 and fit bike had to use different spacer but had to loose rear hugger due to rubbing rim has same spoke pattern
