Default help installing footpegs

i got aftermarket footpegs for my bike and the back pegs dont fit. the front installed no problem but the back pegs arent even close to going in. i can get the pin in but the pegs wont go down. i have been grinding them down so they will fit. did anyone else have this problem or did i get the wrong ones or something?

First of all, make sure the back pegs are not really the front pegs. but if you are using the correct peg, make sure the little plate and ball bearing is lined up properly. Otherwise, you'll only be able to swing the pegs one way and not back. You shouldnt have to grind anything down.
