I can't figure out how to open my lock on the rear area of my bike to hold my helmet? Is it normally supposed to be the ignition key or a seperate key?

 

on my bike, its the ignition key; however, my ignition key and my gas tank key are different.

 

Its the same as the ignition key and gas tank key. Just turn the key and the lock should spring open.

Might be stuck though because of dirt and so on. This happens to mine if i don't use it for extended periods of time.

 

My tank and ignition are the same also. Any idea on a good way to clean it out???

 

Use a penatrating oil with either graphite or teflon and let it soak.

My F2 doesn't have that ugly helmet lock or sissy bar/luggage rack... Or the big ugly center stand.

Mine must be special!
