Default Heavy Duty Engine Covers?

Anyone have any experience with the TrakSport Engine covers. One covers the ignition advancer and the other one covers the stater. Supposed to protect those things when you crash on the track.

I've never even heard of those - I've always used NRC, and also Factory Pro, on the F2... I take it TrakSport makes covers for the F2? Or is this for a different scoot?

They're old, from back in the day, I got them off ebay for an amazing price. I finally put them on today. Just wondering if any one had any problems, with sealing, etc. Yes they're for the F2.

I wanted to put these on because, in 17 track days I haven't crashed YET! But its coming. Its just a matter of time. Keeping it real, thats all. I crashed years ago, when I raced, cracked pulse generator cover, basically put a "maxi pad" on it to get through the weekend. Im going to put manual cct on tomorrow, and make sure the HD engine covers dont leak oil, I followed the directions exactly. Also just got new to me leathers, its going to suck scuffing those up.lol, Going to try and do 4 more track days this year. That will make 14 track days this year. Last year I would drive down, ride all day then drive home. This year, I drive down, ride all day, camp at the track, ride again the next day then drive home. The money I save in gas driving there once for 2 days goes toward the second day. Get it. Plus, most of the time I get to ride 2 different tracks.
