Default head light is out

Checked all the usual suspects, fuse, fuse block, bulb, nothing. The stange thing is when I did notice the lamp out I also noticed the High beam indicator light on the gauge cluster was out also (and I did check the rocker switch it was on high beam) I tested the wiring harness plug that plugs into the head light bulb and it is showing "no voltage" do I need to trace that wiring harness back to what ever it connects to?

Apparently the rocker switch is prone to failure (...or at least so i've heard).
I would start by inspecting that.

I was told to check the hot that runs thru the starter button on the right side apperently thats where the head lamp gets its juice.
