Hard starting F2
Alright guys I am having some problems with my bike, i have a 94 600 F2. I bought the bike off a friend of mine, the bike has been taken care of very well. He was the second owner of it and either of the owners didn't do much other than oil, brakes, chain, ect, ect. you get the idea. So anyway i rode it to work a while ago, started up fine at the house rode to work no prob. Got off work went outside choked it and started right up. Left it run with coke on letting it off a little at a time as it warmed up. It started to idle a little slower, then slower then slower, Hit the gas and poof DIED! Tried to start it back up nothing, crank, crank, crank. N E way i got it started by pumping the gas as i was cranking it. But now i have to do this every time i start it, Half choke fires up and runs blip the gas and it tries to die, let off and its runs fine. I have to do this about 4 or 5 times or untill i can get it to about 3 grand on the tac. After i get it to rev that high it runs great, choke or no choke. Bike has a k&n filter and a slip-on pipe, stock jets, seems to run fine to me, smells rich at idle, checked plugs look good, not sooty or bright white, just a little black, i am thinking i need a sync job and some jets. It just seem weird to me it just did it all at once. I have a stage 1 k&n jet kit I got with the bike.I am going to take it to the local shop for a sync job just wondering if any of you had the same problems

RE: Hard starting F2
I'm thinking if it ran fine before, its trash that got sucked into the carbs, so pull the carburetors off first, and clean the bowls and jets, then see how it runs once you've done this. oh and an inline fuel filter.
I know many people say you dont need one, but I think thats untrue, since its a motor, and like everything else with an engine, it needs to have fuel in it, and the delivery system works best when its clean/clear of dirt and trash. so add the fuel filter inline between carbs and tank.
