ok do i need to jus get a new petcock with the vacuum line or keep the one thats on it cuz when i got the bike it had no vacuum lines on it and i got a book for the bike but the book says it should have that vacuum line

Yes one of the holes should have a tube running from the tank to bottom left side of the engine if you are looking at it from the back.

i read and read and read and finally got it straight the petcock is off a f3 i think i pulled it to check it out and there was no intank filter so i put a in-line filter on it and fixed the fuel line so it don't kink up and it runs awesome now thanks guys
