Default gas tank bolts

I need to buy new bolts to hold the gas tank on and I don't know the size. Anyone know what size off hand?

Go to BikeBandit.com. They have the ability to purchase OEM parts that you find by looking at the schematics, it will probably tell you the size.

Do you have the sleeves? You may have to order them too.

need to order everything, althouhg I'm not sure if I truly need the sleeves, this bike is purely a track bike. I'm sure lowes will have something that'll be decent enough.

Well, if you don't use the sleeves it will start wearing into the rubber hold downs. It will eventually end up causing the tank to shift and bounce. The sleeves are probably really inexpensive.

I dont know the size but all you need to do instead of getting the sleeves is use a washer. thats what i did. Also if your tank moves back and forth just get some door trim from the auto parts store. the kind that goes on the door edge. Cut a few small strips and it will give it some cushion. Just put it on either side of the tank. Good luck!

+1 about the auto door trim for the tank edges... works great. And I thought I was the only genius who thought of that .
