I actually had anear similar incident. I got my '94 F2 last Friday.. rode it home, turned the fuel switch to off and parked it... Saturday the inlaws came over, I wanted to fire it up for the brother in-law and it started right up, choke is on and it was idling and warming up.. all of a sudden it shut off. Me being the brain surgeon that I am, Iforgot to turn the fuel switch to on. So I do that, and commence to try to start the thing for about 6 minuts... won't start.. probably flooded it. So I let it sit for about 10 minutes and then it fired right up.My 2 pennies.
