Default Front forks kinda just drop when i put pressure on them

I have been moving my bike around a lot and I have noticed that I can push down on the handle bars and the shocks seem kinda just blah. They drop a bit. Its hard to explain. Its like there isn't much pressure for the first inch or so then it gets pressure.

Haven't ever noticed it before. Maybe its the cold?

If the bike has been sitting for a while check the air pressure in the tires.

Nothing at all.

Ok, easiest way to explain it. Lets say its standing up on the kickstand and i grab the handle bars to move it. The bars feel like they drop a little its nothing noticeable to the eye. Its more of a feeling.

Really really hard to explain.

Highly doubt it is tires. I haven't been driving it, its only when I move the bike, so its not like im putting weight on the bike other than what my hands push down on the handle bars.

Change your fork oil, and use 10w instead of the stock 5w.

Good idea to change the seals while you're at it.

If you really want your forks to perform, buy some racetech springs rated for your weight.

How hard is it to change the for oil? Thats really weird that you mention racetech because in my motorcycle class im taking at school we get a decent discount from them if we order parts. Do I have to pull the whole fork from the triple tree? Is it bad to drive like this? I would like to take it to school to do it and I dont want to trailer it there.

YOURS TRULY,

99LS1 hahaha..... I saw that other post *****!
