Default Fork Seal Kits

Howdy guys...

I did some searching and found some great info on fork seal replacement/work.
Only questions I have are:
1. Recommendations on web sites to pickup a kit (really want a full kit and not just seals as found on eBay)
2. Fork Oil recommendations (oil weight, brand,# oz per tube)

Thanks for the help guys...
B

Ok no one has any ideas...

Never mind the questions I went ahead and just ordered the seals and some repsol fork oil. I only have one problem left. My service manual .pdf does not have section 1 for some reason and page 1-11 has the fork seal ammount to add per tube info (go figure... thanks Murphy's Law).

Please someone who has doe it let me know how much to use since the local honda dealers I called gave me two VERY different numbers.

So I went too look for you and I too do not have section 1. Once someone answers this question, lets find section 1 so we can have a complete manual.

to do my fork seals I just went to the dealer and got the honda fork seals and dust caps. I also bought two bottles of the honda fork oil. I think its 10w but I think 5w is acceptable too, not sure on that one. The dealer said 432cc's I think. It amounts to like 2-4cc's less than the entire bottle, I don't remember exactly. but its something like that. I'd just go to the dealership and get the right information and the right stuff, I doubt the cost would be that different.

Thanks for the effort. I will call a service center in a bigger town since the closest one doesn't seem to know **** and gave me two different answers when called.

As for the price...

$15 for seals
$20 for Oil
$0 for labor
___________
$35 Total

Dealership = $150 was quoted
Plus the closest dealer is 50+ miles away... kinda sucks

AWESOMEE... thanks bud... that’s all I need; now I can do the forks this weekend. Did too many hard drops doing wheelies and blew the seals couple weeks ago.
