Default Thinking about purchasing an F2

Hello, i'm lookin to purchase a bike, i was leaning toward an F3, but couldnt find one for a reasonable price, so today i was surfing through craigslist and i found a F2, it wasnt what i was lookin for but this bike is going to be my starter bike, so if i can find a bike for a reasonable price i should consider it:

http://westpalmbeach.craigslist.org/mcy/372291569.html

info on craigslist:

"Hi iam trying to sell my bike because i need the money for collage its a really good bike let me tell u its fast its powerfull and it has k&n,nice exgaust. i have the title for it but iam unable to provide pictures but if you email me i will send you pictures. It has a few damages to the front plastics. Iam selling it for 1,500 firm but if u want i can fix it and sell it for 1,800 but besides that the bike is in great condition. Well i hope your intrested please email me thank you...."

so i sent a email to the seller for more information on the bike and recieve this back with a pic:

"hi thank you for replying its an older bike its a 93 with 46k motor was just tuned up nothing wrong with it at all the problems with the bike is there is no front plastics if your worried about the the bike is not for you but its no big deal thats why im only selling it for 1500 but other than that is an awesome bike nothing wrong if vey=ry fast its a 600 but its as fast as 750s"

I was wondering if yall can help me out, i was wondering if this is a reasonable price for the bike or is it too pricey?

Just would like your opinion on the bike before i go take a look at it
sorry the pic is small, that was the only one i recieved

Thank you for your time

The F2 I Have is my first bike, and I love it. Mine handles great, no complaints here. I think it would be a good investment.

How the frack is this guy getting into college without even being able to spell correctly when selling something on craigslist? Plus, 46k on the motor is not the same as 20k or even 30k like most of the bikes we all have. If I was going to even think about that bike I'd be looking that thing over from front tire to rear and everything in between. Personally I don't think it's worth $1,500 unless the tires are still in great shape with no sign of rot or squaring and the chain and sprockets are perfect along with regular maintenance records.

if the bike has been maintained properly even with 46k it can run just as good as you guys with 15-20k. maintainence is key when it comes to bikes. mine has 36k and runs great. ive seen f2's and f1's on ebay with over 50k, there one on ebay right now with 91k but it does have a newer engine in it, but it just goes to show you honda's hold up very well as long as u maintain them.
