Default Fork Measurement

Hey, I just bought a used cbr600 f2, that was modified to a street fighter, and now I am putting it back to stock. I would like to know what is the distance from the top of the triple clamp, to the top of the fork. Mine appears to have been lowered down the fork tubes, putting more weight on the front wheel, - currently there is about 1 1/4" from the top of the triple clamp, to the top of the fork tube. This sticks out of the clipons by approx 3/4" or so.

Thanks

Mine is lowered by about the same amount, before I lowered it, the upper triple clamp was even with the little groove in the top of the fork, (that groove has a little wire ring, like a big circlip, around it too), which leaves maybe an 1/8" of the major diameter of the fork tube sticking out of the triple clamp. That wire ring would actually keep the fork tube from sliding out of the triple clamp if you tried to drop it out. I hope this helps. [8D]
