A few Q:s about a front light conversion.
So, today morning I rode to work, and it`s already totally dark here when I leave. It was the first time I have ever ridden my bike in pitch black darkness, and pretty quickly I came to realise the high beam on an F2 is...shait... I have a slightly bad dim vision and was really struggling to see anything in a light drizzle, so I thought about fixing some aux lights onto the bike and went to a local inspection office to verify it`s legal here. Turns out there can be two high beam fixtures and one low beam on my bike, however the wiring can be legally modified so, that the low beam is always lit regardless of the hi`s, so my options pretty much are either fix one aux high beam on it, but I think that would look even more stupid than two, plus given the fact that the original high beam is pretty much useless and having the both filaments burning at the same time would propably significantly lower the lifespan of the bulb, and possibly fry my light fixture, so I ended up kind of having the best of both worlds and fixing the low to be always on and tweak it up a bit (not too much...), disabling the original high beam altogether and fixing a pair of small projector type aux high lights propably to the ends of the air intake tunnels. Since it`s not a ram air system, I doubt it would do anything to the performance cause it won`t clog the tubes.
So my question is: Can the electric system cope with three high wattage bulbs burning simultaneously or am I risking of frying the R/R or some other expensive parts? Can the alt put enough juice to fuel all three lights at the same time or do I have to think of something else?
