Default Time piece on triple tree

Looking to put a wrist watch of my bike so I can keep track of time! Right now I'm just thinking about putting it around the top of the triple tree. But I don't have a watch so I'm not sure if the strap will be too long/short.

What have you guys used and how well does it work?

I take the band off of a watch and glue velcro to the back of it and on the triple tree. I works and can come off to wash the bike or replace the battery. It also saves the battery from the cold during winter by storing it inside

i took a bike speedometer pr whaterver those lance armstrong cyclist use, i had a spare one not on my road bike, and zip tied it perfectly to the triple tree. Then cut the cable and the bish tells time!

I used one with a Velcro strap and indiglo dial. Worked fine...

Ah, so it looks like something with velcro is the way to go! Thanks!

Yup. Just went to wall mart n bought a cheapo that glowed in the dark and strapped it to the triple tree... 5$ fix. The only issue was I couldn't tell the wifey i lost track of time on my rides anymore...

Saw a video where a guy simply strapped one of those cheap Casio LCD watches on the top of his TT. Looked like it belonged there. I'm gonna put one on my bike when I paint the TT.
