Default Fairing mounting points

Hello, I am a new member here, although I have used some info gathered from this site previously, and I find myself in the middle of a project for my oldest son. We bought a stripped down '94 600F2 and am currently trying to mount a set of '91 fairings/cowls on the bike before teardown. My question is, would anyone have one of these bikes sitting apart that could post some pics of fairing mounting points and any brackets involved ? Specifically the lower, front side panels. I am ordering the two brackets that I can identify from OEM parts diagrams ( #4 and #5 in lower cowl diagram) which I suspect go towards front of panels near duct/ access cover (??). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Thank you very much ! Well, it seems that things changed a little in 1994. I do not have a few of the main mounting tabs that are shown on your bike. But of course, why would anything be easy ??!! Since we already have paid for the 1991 set-up ( got a pretty good deal on them from a local shop), I guess it's going to take a little work mounting these up. Your pictures will be an invaluable resource for us, thanks again for taking the time and effort.

Yeah, I think the '94 has more than a few differences from the '91-'93's. I had a feeling I was in trouble when I saw that the left and right lower cowl mounting brackets had different part numbers between '91 and '94.

Are you sure you don't have an f3? Check the frame number

Frame numbers match title, title says '94. I don't see any signs of the missing tabs having been broken off or removed, so I am assuming something changed in '94.

Didn't the model change mid-year so you have 94-F2 and 94-F3?

I haven't come across that information in my research on the bike, I will check more on that. The bike does have a 4.5" rear wheel and I believe '95 had a 5". I do know there were updated changes made to the F2 model in '94 that were carried over into the '95 F3.

Nope, I've checked and it looks like I was wrong - sorry.
