Hey when i bought my bike the PO told me that he swapped an f2 motor into my 95 f3. I'm having a few problems with it, one of them being that my tach only works when it wants to. I just realized that the ecm, or cdi boxes from the f2 and f3 are different as well as the wiring harnesses. If i buy an f2 cdi box with it fit the f3 harness?

The F3 CDI has 3 extra wires,for the fuel pump and the TPS.

 

ive heard of a lot of people doing this. could also be a loose wire somewhere along the lines. ive had similar problems on my kawi kz, and at times the tacht jsut doesnt like to work.
