Default F2 rear Suspension

Well some of you may have seen my other posts, i aquired a 1993 f2 after been away from bikes for a few years , im not used to sports bikes my last bike been Kawasaki en500, I am learning some things though, well I have watched a lot videos on setting up suspension, i checked the rear shock its set at 7, i am 5'5 and weigh 144lbs, so i was going to set it to number 3, well what a job I got a c spanner it will not move, soaked it in wd40 still no joy,I have it on the centre stand so I tried with a car jack between the rear tyre and under frame still no joy,i went to my local bike repair shop, his reply was; if you can't do it how do you expect me to, I won't be going back there again. At 5'5 I'm on my toes with both feet and I thought if I could adjust it it might give a bit more sag when I sit on it. Im really looking forward to getting this bike out if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

Sounds like you are doing the right stuff.
You want all the weight off the rear tire. On the center stand is good.
Those collars shouldn't be that hard to turn.
If it's stuck, try spraying it with something better than wd-40.
Let is soak for a while.

Then put the spanner on it again.
turn it so your are going down numbers. Don't go from 7 to 1.
It can be done, but it's not a good thing.
Tap on the spanner handle with a small hammer. May help free the collar.
Or get a long pipe, put it over the spanner handle and give it a push.
Have someone else hold onto the bike or you can flip it off the centerstand.
Don't ask me how I know.

At last I done it, I've set it to 3 , my brother came to visit me he has a 600 hornet, and he had the tool kit, so C spanner fitted mine and I got it moving, so now I know use the proper tool,
